Outward Perspective

We are passionate about outward optimism. It is part of our manifesto and we bring it to every project, big and small.

What is outward optimism?

Outward optimism is a way to seek inspiration and new ideas for your school’s marketing. It is the commitment to know, observe and learn from brands your audiences love – brands far outside the independent school sector just like we have with Adidas and SoulCycle.

Owen Sanderson, a business designer from IDEO, recently wrote about the same idea. At IDEO, they call it analogous research. He shares a powerful case for analogous research (aka outward optimism) on the Octopus Blog.

Enjoy it here.

It might just be the change in perspective you to share a stronger story for your school.
